How Do We Perform Decontamination?

  • Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS)
In this step, we determine if areas or equipment is low-risk, high-risk or an intermediate risk. This is important in order to know where efforts need to be focused to be decontaminated more thoroughly.  Equally, we assess the accessibility risk, after-effects of the decontamination procedure by highlighting any findings to you.  Should there be any inherent risks highlighted; we will work with you to ensure those risks are mitigated to manage your expectation.
  • Cleaning
Before proceeding to the decontamination process, we first clean all the surfaces, equipment and peripherals. All of these must be free from any visible dirt.
  • Choosing the right disinfectant solutions
Not all viruses and bacteria can be killed using a single type of disinfectant solution. Based on the initial risk assessment, we choose the disinfectant solution(s) that will be best placed in decontaminating affected areas.
  • Decontamination process
While undergoing the process, we make sure that all of our employees are protected so that they may not be infected by the microorganisms using appropriate PPE. This is also done to prevent the possibility of spreading the microorganisms outside your facility.
  • Decontamination
Reduces the possibility of the areas and equipment in your premises from being contaminated. This will help you greatly, as a decontaminated area is sure to bring positive results, by extenuating the disease, leaving your staff / employees at your facility safe and healthy.
